Ambassador Erin to Lead CoppaTrek in the Indian Himalayas to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

This November, Erin will take on a new challenge as a TEAM CAPTAIN for CoppaTrek! in the Indian Himalayas, alongside her partner Sam, who will bring his energy and positivity to the adventure. The two have longed to join a trek, and Erin is particularly excited to dive into training following her success at the Paris Paralympics.

Over five days, Erin, Sam, and 120 other trekkers will raise vital funds and awareness for Coppafeel!, the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity. This cause is deeply personal for Erin, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, just months after winning gold at the Tokyo Paralympics. Erin’s story of perseverance—competing while undergoing 15 rounds of chemotherapy—has been closely tied to the work of Coppafeel!, whose founder Kris Hallenga was a close friend. Without the charity’s outreach, Erin might not have detected her cancer early.

CoppaFeel! aims to educate 18-24-year-olds about the signs of breast cancer and the importance of regular self-checks. Erin, who underwent a double mastectomy in January 2023 and returned to competitive rowing just months later, is now an advocate for the charity, along with Sam.

This journey is one they are deeply passionate about, and every donation will help ensure Coppafeel! can continue its life-saving work. We’re proud to support Erin and Sam on this meaningful trek, having donated £500 to help fund the cause.

Erin’s excitement and determination are infectious, and after visiting the Brecon Beacons CoppaTrek, she can’t wait to lead this inspiring team through the Himalayan mountains

Join them in supporting this vital cause—every penny helps!
