We have nine automatic presses capable of printing 40,000 garments per day and up to 12 colours per design. Fresh Air celebrates 50 years of printing T-Shirts. Everything from initial design to final packaging is done at our factory premises.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trainee Sample Hand Carousel Screen Printer to join our team. As a Trainee you will fully support the Sample Hand Carousel Printers, learning how to produce high-quality prints on T-Shirts to send to customers for approval, using screen printing techniques. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development in the field.

Responsibilities:

– Collecting Screens from Screen Department

– Collect Inks from Ink Department for Sample Printers

– Set up and take down screen printing equipment, manual carousel presses

– Load and unload garments or other items onto the printing press

– Ensure accurate registration of screens and maintain proper ink consistency when printing

– Monitor print quality to ensure adherence to design specifications

– Troubleshoot any issues with the printing process, such as ink smudging or misalignment

– Clean and maintain equipment, including screens, squeegees

– Collaborate with the Art Room

– Collect blank T-Shirts ready for printing from stock/good In

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

– Excellent communication skills with GCSE Level English, Reading and Writing
